Delete your account and data
Forgotten Town is published by Burak Yilmaz. The app is
Forgotten Town
(com.forgottentown.forgotten_town on Google Play,
com.forgottentown.forgottenTown on the App Store). This page
explains how to have your account and its data erased.
Delete it yourself, inside the game
Open Settings → Account → Delete account and data and confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first; that is a security check, not a second step.
Or ask us
Write to didiappinfo+forgottentown@gmail.com from the email address on the account, or tell us the player ID shown under Settings → Account. We act within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account identifier and, if you created one, your email address.
- Your cloud save — town, progress, cases and settings.
- The copy of the town stored on that device.
This is immediate and cannot be undone.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records — kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. They are held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as the record of a payment, not as a profile of you.
- Gameplay statistics — anonymous event counts already collected are retained for up to 14 months and are not linked back to a deleted account.
Playing without an account
Guest play stores the town on your device. Deleting the app removes it. There is nothing to request in that case.
